1. Scope and who we are
This Privacy Policy applies to the Easy Return Label iOS application and its Share Sheet extension (together, the “App”), provided by TZI Labs, LLC (“TZI Labs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). It does not govern the TZI Digital website or unrelated TZI Labs services, which may have their own privacy notices.
2. Privacy summary
The App has no account system, advertising SDK, cross-app tracking, or TZI Labs analytics service. Its label, carrier, text, barcode, and QR detection runs on device. The App does not transmit the content you import to TZI Labs servers.
Based on the App’s current functionality, TZI Labs does not collect personal data from the App as Apple defines “collect” for App Privacy disclosures. If the App’s practices change, we will update this policy and the App Store privacy disclosure before or when those changes take effect.
3. Data processed on your device
The App may process the following content only when you choose to provide it:
- Images and PDFs selected through Photos or Files, or sent through the iOS Share Sheet.
- Text, carrier clues, tracking numbers, linear barcodes, QR codes, Data Matrix, Aztec, and PDF417 codes detected in that content.
- Captions, code payloads, catalog names, and layout choices you create inside the App.
- Generated PDFs, print previews, thumbnails, catalogs, and recent-document history.
The App uses Apple frameworks, including Vision and PDFKit, to analyze and format this content locally. TZI Labs does not operate a server that receives or stores it.
4. Files, Photos, and the Share Sheet
You decide what the App can access. Files and Photos are presented through Apple’s system pickers, and the Share Sheet extension receives only the items you explicitly share with it. Easy Return Label does not scan your full library in the background.
If you grant a system permission, you can review or revoke it in iOS Settings. Revoking access does not remove copies you previously imported into the App; those can be removed using the App’s deletion controls or by deleting the App.
5. Local storage, retention, and deletion
Imported working files, catalog assets, generated documents, thumbnails, and history records are stored locally in the App’s private storage and shared App Group container so the main App and its Share Sheet extension can work together. They remain there until you delete the relevant item, clear recent documents, or uninstall the App.
When you export, print, save, or share a PDF, copies may remain in Files, another app, a printer queue, a backup, or a third-party service you selected. Those copies are outside Easy Return Label’s control and must be managed in the destination where you sent them.
Delete individual recent documents or catalogs inside the App. To remove all App-held content, delete Easy Return Label from your device.
7. Children’s privacy
Easy Return Label is a general-audience utility and is not directed to children under 13. Because the App does not transmit user content or create user accounts, TZI Labs does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the App.
8. Security
Keeping label analysis and document generation on device limits exposure to network transmission. Local information is protected by the safeguards available on your iPhone, but no device or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure. Protect your device with a passcode and keep iOS up to date.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the App, legal requirements, or our practices. We will publish the revised policy here and change the effective date above. If a change materially affects how the App handles data, we will provide additional notice where appropriate.
