Terms of Use

1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are a legal agreement between you and TZI Labs, LLC (“TZI Labs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your use of the Easy Return Label iOS application and its Share Sheet extension (together, the “App”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Your use of the App is also subject to Apple’s applicable App Store terms, including Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement unless a valid custom license is presented through the App Store. Mandatory App Store terms control where they cannot legally be changed by these Terms.

2. Limited license

Subject to these Terms and the App Store usage rules, TZI Labs grants you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the App on Apple-branded devices you own or control. The App is licensed, not sold. You may not copy, redistribute, rent, lease, sublicense, reverse engineer, decompile, or create derivative works from the App except where applicable law expressly permits that activity despite this restriction.

3. What the App does — and does not do

Easy Return Label helps analyze images and PDFs you provide and formats likely shipping labels, barcodes, QR codes, and other printable content into PDFs. It can place a 4 × 6 label on US Letter paper, arrange multiple images, create reusable code catalogs, and make those PDFs available to print, save, or share.

4. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Confirming that the source label, destination address, carrier, tracking number, and postage are valid and current.
• Reviewing the print preview and final printed output before attaching it to a package.
• Printing at the indicated scale and ensuring the barcode or QR code is clear, complete, and readable.
• Following the retailer’s return instructions and the carrier’s packaging, labeling, drop-off, and timing requirements.
• Keeping your device and any exported documents secure.
• Using the App only for lawful purposes and not to create, alter, duplicate, or distribute fraudulent labels, codes, tickets, credentials, or documents.

5. Your content and rights

You retain your rights in the images, PDFs, text, labels, and code payloads you provide (“Your Content”). You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to process, print, save, or share Your Content through the App. You must not use the App to infringe another person’s intellectual property, privacy, contractual, or other rights.

The App processes Your Content on your device. TZI Labs does not claim ownership of it. When you send an exported document to another app, printer, cloud provider, retailer, or carrier, the destination’s terms may apply to that copy.

6. Privacy

The Easy Return Label Privacy Policy explains how the App handles imported files, on-device analysis, local storage, sharing, and deletion. It is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

7. Apple and other third parties

Apple is not responsible for the App, its maintenance, support, warranties, product claims, or intellectual-property claims, except to the extent Apple’s terms state otherwise. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of the provisions that apply to them and may enforce those provisions.

Retailers, shipping carriers, printers, Files providers, cloud services, and apps you use with Easy Return Label are independent third parties. TZI Labs does not control and is not responsible for their content, availability, security, policies, or actions.

8. Updates and availability

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the App. Updates may be required for continued use or compatibility with future iOS versions. Some features depend on device capabilities, iOS frameworks, printers, file formats, or third-party apps and may not work in every situation.

9. Detection and print disclaimers

Barcode, QR, text, carrier, and shipping-label detection are automated and may be incomplete or incorrect. A source may be low resolution, damaged, unusual, encrypted, unsupported, or designed in a way the App cannot reliably interpret. Formatting a label does not repair invalid postage or guarantee that a retailer or carrier can scan or accept it.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, QUIET ENJOYMENT, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS, SO SOME OF THESE EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

10. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TZI LABS AND ITS MEMBERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST DATA, LOST PROFITS, MISDIRECTED PACKAGES, MISSED RETURN WINDOWS, DENIED REFUNDS, POSTAGE COSTS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE APP.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TZI Labs’ total liability for all claims relating to the App will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or US $50. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, and your mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

11. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time. Your license ends automatically if you materially violate these Terms. On termination, you must stop using and delete the App. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, and governing law—will survive.

12. Governing law

Except where your local consumer law requires otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in Oakland County, Michigan will have jurisdiction over disputes not required to be heard elsewhere. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the App, law, or our business. We will post the updated Terms here and revise the effective date. Continued use of the App after updated Terms take effect means you accept them to the extent permitted by law.
